SpaceX planning to launch the first orbital starship test flight in July
SpaceX could operate the starship's first orbital test flight in a few weeks.
According to CNBC, SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell told them at the Online International Space Development Conference that the company was shooting "for July" when planning an orbital trip.
Shotwell was aware of the challenges, but said his determination was "in the true sense" of the original journey.
The current orbital flight plan from Boca Chika in Texas has a starship prototype and its super-heavy booster stage has been lowered into the Gulf of Mexico about three minutes later.
The spacecraft entered orbit and landed a soft water near Hawaii after a total time of about 90 minutes.
As before, it doesn't anticipate any major complications - and that's the biggest issue for SpaceX so far.
This includes high-altitude aircraft, with its own portion of the risk in orbit. Although some major disadvantages exist in the past, the corrections made since then do not guarantee that this time will guarantee a transparent trip.
